I am in Siena. We arrived saturday night around 7:30 and my host Madre Caterina Verdis, was waiting for Sharlie and me. We somehow managed to get all our luggage and packs in the small smart car. It was a miracle to say the least. Caterina dropped us off at the apartment complex and we brought the luggage to the 3rd floor while she parked the car. We each have our own room which is very nice. I felt relieved to finally unpack and rest for a while. She made us some sort of Green bean/egg/potato/tuna casserole and fresh melon. We barely communicated but with the dictionary on the table we managed. Today is the first day of school. I am attending the Societa Dante Alighieri. Italian class is starting! bye!
